Testnet wallets let you experiment with KurncyWalletApp features without risking real assets. Use this guide to create and use a testnet wallet.
What is a Testnet Wallet?
A testnet wallet operates on kaspatest, using TKAS with no real-world value. It's ideal for learning, development, and testing.
Steps to Create/Import a Testnet Wallet
Install the Beta version of Kurncy Wallet:
Ensure you are using a beta build (see Beta Overview).
Open the App:
Existing account: After login, navigate to the profile section from the main menu and change the network to testnet-10
New account:
After signup, create a simple wallet with a simple pin
Then, navigate to the profile section from the main menu and change the network to testnet-10
Create Testnet Wallet:
Tap Wallets to create/import a new wallet by selecting the + icon
Create/import your wallet - see Wallet management
Get Testnet TKAS:
Use the https://faucet-tn10.kaspanet.io with your kaspatest:address to receive TKAS.
Warnings
Testnet wallets are for testing only. Do not use them for storing or transferring real assets.
Testnet tokens have no real-world value and may be reset at any time.
