Sending & Receiving KAS

Kurncy Wallet makes it easy to send and receive digital assets securely. This guide covers sending and receiving Kaspa (KAS).

📥 Receiving KAS

Receive — Step

  • Go to your Wallet screen.

  • To receive into an Account: open the Account, choose a receive address (or tap "+ Add a Receive Address"), then tap Receive.

  • To receive into a standalone Wallet: open the wallet and tap Receive.

  • Your selected address and a QR code will be displayed.

  • Share your address or QR code with the sender.

Tip: Always double-check the address before sharing. Use the copy button for accuracy.

Tip: Use a KNS domain to have a human-readable name for your Kaspa address.

Tip: On mainnet, Kaspa addresses begin with "kaspa:" (for example: kaspa:...).


📤 Sending KAS

Start — Step

  • Open the wallet/address you want to send from. If using an Account, pick a receive address first (the app may suggest one for you).

  • Tap the Send button (paper plane icon).

Recipient & Amount — Step

  • Enter the recipient's Kaspa address manually, paste it, or tap the QR code icon to scan their address.

  • Enter the amount of KAS you want to send. You can switch between KAS and your preferred currency.

Fee & Review — Step

  • Choose your transaction fee:

    • Standard (default, lower cost, may take longer)

    • Priority (higher fee, faster confirmation)

  • Review the transaction summary to confirm the recipient, amount, and fee.

Send & Authorize — Step

  • Tap Send.

  • Enter your PIN to authorize the transaction.

  • You’ll see a confirmation screen once the transaction is submitted.

Note: If you want to send your entire balance, tap MAX to auto-fill the maximum sendable amount after fees.


📡 NFC Tap‑to‑Pay

  • Tap the NFC button, then hold your phone near a Kaspa NFC tag.

  • Tags can contain Kaspa payment links like kaspa:<bech32>?amount=1.23.

  • The Send screen opens pre‑filled with the recipient (and amount, if present).

🧾 Transaction History & Status

To view your past transactions, open your account or wallet and select the item you’re interested in. Tap any transaction to see full details, including status, confirmations, and transaction ID.
