KNS Domains

KNS domains let you register human-readable names (like yourname.kas) for your Kaspa address. This guide explains how to register, manage, and transfer KNS domains in Kurncy Wallet.

KNS protocol is supported by the KNS team. See the KNS app: https://app.knsdomains.org

1

Inscribing a KNS Domain

  • Go to the Inscribe .kas section in your wallet.

  • Enter your desired domain name (e.g., myname).

  • The app will check if the domain is available.

  • Review the fees and confirm your choice.

  • Enter your PIN to complete registration.

  • Once registered, the domain is linked to your chosen receive address.

2

Transferring a KNS Domain

  • Select the domain you wish to transfer.

  • Tap Transfer.

  • Enter the recipient's Kaspa address.

  • Confirm and enter your PIN.

  • The domain will be transferred to the new owner.

Managing Your Domains

  • View all your KNS domains in the KNS Assets section.

  • Tap a domain to see details and to transfer the domain.

  • To set your Primary name: open the domain and tap the star icon in the top-left. Your Primary name is used in your profile and across supported in-app displays.

Tips & Notes

  • Reserved domains and premium names may have special rules or higher fees.

  • You can search for available domains and see if a name is listed for sale.
