NFT Widget
This guide explains how to enable and use the Kurncy NFT Home Screen widget, how many NFTs it can show, and what happens behind the scenes.
🧭 Overview
The widget displays images from your KRC-721 NFTs.
Images are prefetched in the app and cached for fast, offline-friendly rendering.
You can choose how many NFTs (1–50) to rotate through.
Requires iOS 17+ or Android 13 & compatible devices.
🚀 Enable the NFT widget in the app
Open your wallet and tap the settings/actions sheet.
In the card labeled “NFT widget”:
Toggle the switch ON to enable the widget.
Adjust “Number of NFTs” with the stepper (1 to 50). Default is 1.
Leave the sheet open for a few seconds while the app prefetches images.
Go to the Home Screen and add the widget:
Long-press the Home Screen → “+” → search “Kurncy NFT/Wallet” → add.
Choose size (small, medium, large).
🔄 How rotation works
The app prefetches up to X NFT images and stores them as downsampled JPEGs
The widget rotates through the cached images on each timeline reload (15 mins).
iOS Only: You can manually change NFT image using the “Next” button
✅ Best practices
Keep the widget count modest (e.g., 1–50) for faster prefetching and less storage use.
