Wallet Settings

Customize and secure your wallet in Kurncy Wallet. This guide covers all wallet settings, security, and backup options available from the wallet or account settings menu.

📝 Renaming Your Wallet or Account

  • Open your wallet or account and tap the Settings (gear) icon.

  • Tap the pencil icon next to the name.

  • Enter a new name and tap Save.

  • To cancel, tap Cancel.

🔗 Viewing & Copying Your Receive Address

  • For an Account: open the Account, select a receive address (or add a new one), then tap the copy icon to copy that address.

  • For a standalone Wallet: your address appears at the top of the settings screen — tap the copy icon to copy it.

  • A checkmark will briefly appear to confirm it was copied.

🖼️ NFT Widget

  • Toggle NFT Widget to enable what appears on your Home/Lock Screen.

  • Choose the number of NFTs to display (cache).

  • To add the widget on iOS/Android: long-press the Home or Lock Screen, tap +, search "Kurncy NFT/Wallet", select NFT Widget and size, then tap Add Widget.

  • To add the widget on Android: long-press the Home screen, go to Widgets, choose Kurncy Wallet, then drag NFT Widget to your screen.

🧩 Compound UTXOs

  • Tap Compound UTXOs to optimize your unspent transactions.

  • This can help reduce fees and improve send reliability.

  • Follow the prompts and enter your PIN to confirm.

🔐 Change PIN

  • Tap Change PIN to update the PIN used to authorize transactions and sensitive actions.

  • Enter your current PIN, then your new PIN, and confirm it.

  • For Accounts, changing the PIN updates the Account and its receive addresses.

🗝️ Viewing/Exporting Secrets

  • If your Account uses a seed phrase, tap Show Seeds to view your recovery phrase (PIN required).

  • If your Wallet uses a private key, tap Show Private Key (PIN required).

  • Never share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone.

✅ Secret Save Confirmation

  • Toggle I have saved my secrets after you have securely backed up your recovery phrase or private key.

  • If not enabled, a warning icon will appear and some actions will be limited until you confirm.

🗑️ Deleting a Wallet or Account

  • Remove Wallet: deletes only this wallet (single address). You must confirm you have saved your secrets and enter your PIN.

  • Remove Account: deletes the account and all of its receive addresses. You must confirm you have saved your secrets and enter your PIN.

  • Warning: These actions are irreversible. Back up your recovery phrase or private key first.

♻️ Migrate to Account

  • If you see "Migrate to account" in a wallet’s actions, you can move an older wallet into the new Account format.

  • Follow the prompts: confirm with your PIN, review, and complete. Your funds and settings move safely.

✉️ Invites (KISR)

  • From wallet actions, choose Invite a Friend to create an invite, enter an amount, and confirm with your PIN. You can copy the code, share a link, or share a QR.

  • Tapping the link opens Kurncy and pre‑fills the redeem screen (best experience). Universal/App Links are preferred for Messages.
