Welcome to Kurncy Wallet! This guide will help you set up your wallet and get started quickly.

1. πŸŽ‰ Welcome Screen

Choose Create New Wallet or Import Wallet.

2. πŸ†• Creating a New Account/Wallet

When you select Create New Wallet, you will be guided through the following steps:

a. 🧰 Choose Account Type

  • Simple Account (12 Words):

    • Uses a 12-word seed phrase for backup and recovery.

    • Recommended for most users.

  • Choose your account:

    • 12 Words Seed Account

    • 24 Words Seed Account (more secure, optional passphrase)

    • Simple wallet (seedless)

b. πŸ” Optional Passphrase (for Seed Accounts)

You may enter an additional passphrase for extra security.

c. πŸ” Set a PIN

Choose a secure PIN to protect your wallet on this device.

d. βœ… Complete Account/Wallet Creation

After confirmation, your account/wallet will be created and ready to use.

3. ♻️ Importing an Account/Wallet

  • Select Import Wallet.

  • Enter your 12/24-word recovery phrase or private key.

  • Set a new PIN and (optionally) enable biometrics.

  • Smart scan: the app scans your first 20 receive addresses and automatically surfaces any with funds.

3b. βœ‰οΈ Redeeming an Invite (KISR)

  • Select redeem - Scan a QR

  • The wallet opens the Redeem Invitation sheet and pre-fills details. You can also paste the code manually.

  • Tap Redeem. You'll also see your invitee's memo.

4. 🧩 Accounts & Receive Addresses

  • Accounts can hold multiple receive addresses under one name.

  • In the Account screen, tap β€œ+ Add a Receive Address” to generate a new address.

  • Pull down to refresh and see updated totals.

  • Your total KAS is aggregated across all receive addresses in the account, with a simple tier emoji for quick insight.

5. 🧩 Personalize Your Wallet

  • Set a display name.

  • (Optional) Inscribe a KNS domain for easy transfers.
